Yes, the old posts needed re-indexing. Everah started this process last night. I know it was going to take a few hours so not sure if it is finsihed yet.

Seems like the problem is gone, thanks pal.
Another problem though is that sometimes (pretty often actually) I read a post, but it is still marked as unread.
The search indedx rebuilt last night. I haven't tested search, so I will do that momentarily, but the search index had been rebuilt completely as of last night PST.
The search index sets up a full text search. The settings tell me that there are 424584 that were indexed and that there are 812 words indexed with 1827 word to post relations indexed. But I am thinking it is not working because a search of our site for things that are in the post table do not show up in results.
812 words indexed? There has to be a lot more than that. I don't think that is correct.
I haven't tried search, but everything else is working fine for me. The server is pretty snappy. I could go for a bit more contrast on the theme though. What information do I need to create a theme? If I wanted to make a theme could I have a copy of the existing theme and the database settings for it?
Everah wrote:It is probably easiest to download and install phpBB3 locally to test theme development.
I understand that, I'm concerned about any modifications made though. I want to make sure my version of the theme is compatible with any changes made on the site. I'm willing to donate some time to make a high(er) contrast version of the theme. It will probably be just a few minor tweaks here and there but I think it would be preferred by anyone with color blindness issues. (Keep in mind this is 10% of males and 1% of females)
I changed my theme to subsilver, worked fine.
I decided to change it back to prosilver. It changed it, then I go back to index and its subsilver again.
I go back to UCP to change it back again and suddenly its in prosilver again. I repeat these steps and it goes into subsilver back again when i'm at the index. I go to make this very message and it jumps back into prosilver. Weird..
This forum has a mind of its own on picking a theme, and in indecisive one at that since it cannot make up its mind which one to change too.
