Decorator encoding

Hi there
Great library, I use it to send all my mass emails.
Just one question about the decorator plugin .
I use the decorator plugin to insert, in the subject, the name of the recipient but sometimes that name has special charaters(eg í, ç...) and those caracter are replaced with html caracter codes.Where,in the code, does the plugin preform this transformation,Or is there a way to tell the plugin not to make this transformation?
