VERY Tiny Gifs

I need some extremely small .gifs (transparent background preferably)

I'm no graphics artist, so I was hoping to find some suitable graphics somewhere on the web.
The problem is the smallest I can find is about 16x16 (favicons), but I need smaller gif, maybe around 8x8. Simply resizing favicons in GIMP destroys all but the simplest icons.

Does any know of a good website that has a collection of micro icons?

You're not going to get a lot of detail in 64 pixels, so don't expect much more than 2 color icons.

http://www.iconfinder.com/ lets you search down to 12 x 12. Googling for "mini icons" might turn up something.

I only need one color, basic shapes maybe, a circle and an square, an X and a triangle, and at the most complex maybe something that resembles the shape of a medical cross.

Googling for "mini icons" might turn up something.

At that size, and only one colour, it doesn't take much artistic ability to create your own.

You're right; I could probably do it myself, but I rather see if it has already been done rather than 'reinvent the wheel'.
I'm as lazy as I can be.

Slightly-OffTopic:(IMO the smart lazy ass person is going to find or invent a better/quicker way to accomplish a task than a person who is extremely hard working.)

you can search google for gif images mostly websites have option on the side where you can adjust size and also pixles
